Joe D'Amico's NCAAF Consensus Winner
California vs. Ohio State,
09/15/2012 12:00 EDT,
Score: 28 - 35
Point Spread: -16½/-110 Ohio State
Today's winner is Ohio state over California. This is my Consensus Winner.
Ohio State HC, Urban Meyer lives to run up the score in his own building. Note that Buckeye's RB's, Hyde and Hall are both doubtful here, but it won't matter as OSU is loaded with runners. QB, Braxton Miller has run for 302 yards so far TY. The play-caller leads the Big 10 in total offense. Ohio State has too much of an edge on both sides of the ball in this meeting. California has failed to cover both of their outings this season, including an outright loss as a 12 point favorite in their opener vs. Nevada. The Bears have allowed 30 points or more in their L6 lined games played on the road. The team already fumbled the ball 7 times this season. Their "O" will get shredded against the Buckeyes fast and furious defensive front. QB, Zach Maynard will have problems throwing the ball vs. an OSU secondary that has already amassed 5 INTs. The Golden Bears are 2-8 ATS their L10 games played on the road, 1-4 ATS their L5 non-conference games, and 1-4 ATS their L5 games played in September. The Buckeyes are 8-1-1 ATS their L10 games played against the PAC 12, 12-4 ATS their L16 non-conference games, and 10-3 ATS their L13 games played in September. Take Ohio State . Thank you.
