Joe D'Amico's NFLX LV Strip Move Winner
Miami vs. Dallas,
08/29/2012 20:30 EDT,
Score: 13 - 30
Point Spread: -2½/-108 Dallas
Today's winner is Dallas over Miami. This is my LV Strip Move Winner.
Dallas is touted to win 8 games this season while Miami is slated to take 7 contests. The Cowboys offense scored 20 points in each of their L2 outings and have a chance at a 3-1 pre-season mark. Having a winning exhibition season is important to the team, Jerry Jones, and all potential season ticket buyers. This is the last chance to show their fans at home that they are a winning unit. Orton, McGhee, and Carpenter are good enough to move the chains while starter Tony Romo has a 65.6% CR, 2 TDs, and 0 INTs. The ground game is average but the passing game (even without Witten) is dangerous. I don't know what is worse…Miami's offense or their defense. The "O" is posting 10.0 PPG while their "D" is allowing 22.0 PPG. The QB's have more INTs (3) than TDs (2) and their rushing game is non-existent. Defensively, they have just four sacks. The stop-unit is unable to get pressure on opposing QBs. Dallas' passing game will move the ball while their defense will shut down Miami's offense. Take the Cowboys. Thank you.
