Joe D'Amico's NFLX TV Game Winner
Seattle vs. Denver,
08/18/2012 21:00 EDT,
Score: 30 - 10
Point Spread: -1/-103 Denver
Today's winner is Denver over Seattle. This is my NFLX TV winner.
With Peyton Manning now over Center, Denver is down to 7-1 to win the Super Bowl while Seattle is touted at 35-1 to take it all. Both teams won their opener as the Broncos crushed the Bears, 31-3 and the Seahawks beat the Titans 27-17. Peyton Manning was 4-7 with 44 YP and did something he didn't do in all of the 2010 season…he threw an interception in the red zone. This week, the 4-Time MVP worked on his release in the red zone. The team's goal is to ensure that Manning throws more than 1 TD this game. He is expected to play app. 4 series. So you know he means business. The offense sports three solid backups behind the ex-Colt, seven rushers, and fourteen receivers. Manning worked out with the three top receivers this week. I expect to see more of the play makers in today. The QB needs to prove himself…not to the team, not to the fans, and not to the city. He needs to prove himself to him. Seattle's play-callers, Wilson and Flynn are good. But the team does not possess the running game to stand against the LB corps of Denver. This leaves the passing game which will have their hands full vs. the stacked secondary of the Broncos. Oh yeah…This is Denver's first game at hosting, at home, in front of their fans. Take Denver. Thank you.
