Joe D'Amico's NBA 100% 100 Star Winner
Miami vs. Boston,

Score: 91 - 101
Point Spread: +2½/-105 Miami
Today's winner is Miami over Boston. This is my 100 Star Winner.
The stage shifts in the series to Boston today, as the Celtics are now down 2-0 in the Eastern Conference Finals. In Game 2, the Heat overcame a 15 point deficit to take the meeting. James and Wade combined for 57 points. The Dynamic Duo remains unstoppable on offense while King James' defensive play is the reason why he took another MVP trophy home this season. Chalmers and Haslem exploded in the second game as well (Chalmers 22 points and Haslem 13 points and 11 rebounds). You expect the super stars to make the highlight reel, but it is the supporting cast for Miami that is making the difference in the matchup. The team also returns another big man in Center, Dexter Pittman today after serving a three game suspension. In the last game, Boston came out with guns blazing to look like they were going to have an easy win. The team knows that they are outgunned here and left it all out on the floor on Wednesday. Rajon Rondo played all 53 minutes and shot well above his par from the perimeter. Do I think the team's best player will be tired? No. Do I know he won't shoot from the outside just as well again? Yes. Paul Pierce has fouled out two of the last three outings. The Captain is overcompensating for both age and injury. Because of the physical mismatch here, I expect Miami to go the line a lot more once again. Game 2 had them taking 47 FTs compared to Boston's 29 attempts. The Heat are 5-1 ATS their L6 Conference Final's games, 6-2 ATS their L8 games following an ATS loss, and 4-1 ATS their L5 games played overall. The Celtics are 2-6 ATS their L8 games played on 1 days rest, 0-4 ATS their L 4 games following an ATS win, 2-5 ATS their L7 games played in Friday. Take Miami. Thank you.
