Score: 111 - 120
Point Spread: -4½/-107 San Antonio
Today's winner is San Antonio over Oklahoma City. This is my 100 Star Winner.
San Antonio roared back to erase a 9 point deficit to take down Oklahoma City in Game 1. To sum it up… Playoff Experience. The Spurs nucleus have played together forever and have been in the trenches for a ton of post-season games. They are a perfect 9-0 in the Playoffs this season and are riding a 19 game winning streak. In the opener, Kevin Durant really had no help, whatsoever. The Thunder eked out just one FG in the last 9 1/2 minutes. Manu Ginobili did not play in any of the three regular season meetings between these two teams. The Guard certainly made his presence known in Game 1 as he lit up OKC for 26 points. San Antonio's bench and depth is far superior here. Remember that the Spurs are 33-5 SU and 28-9-1 ATS at home this season. The Thunder are 3-7 ATS their L10 games vs. the Spurs, 5-11-1 ATS their L17 games played at the Spurs, and 1-4 ATS their L5 games played vs. teams with a winning percentage over .600. The Spurs are 22-5-1 ATS their L28 games played at home, 5-0-1 ATS their L6 games played as a favorite of .5-4.5 points, and 39-12-4 ATS their L55 games played overall. Take San Antonio. Thank you.
