Result: Win

Today's winner is Orlando/Indiana UNDER. This is my 1st round Total of the Year.

Even without Dwight Howard, Glen Davis took care of business in his place as the Magic beat the Pacers in Game 1, 81-77, as a 9 point 'dog. Davis lit up Indiana for 16 points and 13 boards. It was Orlando's third UNDER in their L4 games and Indiana's 2 UNDER in a row. These squads match up well as proven in game 1 when the two teams combined for a mere 63 points in the 2nd half. Pacers leading scorer, Danny Granger was 7 of 20 with 5 TOs. Nobody shot well. Then starting five for the Magic was a dismal 26-67 and overall, the team shot just 32 for 81. The Pacers starters shot a lowly 24-62 while the entire team was 30-87 shooting. Indiana will have to change schemes as to avoid going down 2 games to none here. While Orlando will do exactly what they did in Game 1 and controlled the pace. Without Howard, the Magic loses his 20.6/14.5 and is forced to use Turkoglu, Anderson, and Davis quite differently. Indiana isn't the greatest rebounding team to begin with so they must try to move the ball around, which is NOT their forte. The UNDER is 12-4 the L16 meetings in Indiana, 6-2 in the Magic's L8 road games, 15-5-1 in the Magic's L21 Conference Quarter Final games, 7-1 in the Pacers L8 playoff games played as a favorite, and 4-1 in the Pacers L5 Conference Quarter Final games. Take the UNDER . Thank you.
