New York vs. Miami, 04/30/2012 19:00 EDT, Score: 94 - 104

Point Spread: -9½/-115 Miami

Sportsbook: DSI

Result: Win

Today's winner is Miami over New York. This is my Bookie Buster.

New York was shredded in Game 1, 100-67. In that game, the Knicks lost their best perimeter defender in Imen Shumpert. Carmelo Anthony was held to just 3 of 15 shooting, while Chandler and Shumpert went scoreless. Their 67 point output tied a franchise low in the playoffs. NY is just 14-20 SU and 15-19 ATS on the road this season. With Jeremy Lin out, Shumpert out, and Chandler (flu), Davis (back), and Douglas (virus), this is a hobbling New York squad. In Game 1, Miami swarmed Carmelo and forced him to either make bad shots or dish the ball off. Realize this…NY has lost 11 straight playoff games going back to 2001. The Heat's James, Wade, and Chalmers, combined for 62 points in the opener. James, Bosh, and Haslem will once again own the boards as they are too big and strong for this matchup. The Miami bench is healthier, deeper, and more talented. You see, the Heat took some time to rest and heal over the last few weeks of the season, prior to the playoffs and are 100% right now. They have taken all four meeting over NY this season by an average of 16.2 PPG. The Knicks are 3-7-1 ATS their L11 Conference Quarter Final games and 1-5 ATS their L6 games as a 'dog of 5-10 1/2 points. The Heat are 8-2 ATS their L10 playoff games played as a favorite and 5-1 ATS their L6 games played at home. Take Miami. Thank you.
