5* NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP GAME ATS ABSOLUTE SMASH: Kentucky -6.5
My money is on Kentucky to roll all over Kansas in what could end up being a lopsided championship game. The Wildcats are the far superior team. For the Jayhawks to even have a shot in this game, they have to play their best game and Kentucky has to play their worst game of the tournament.
The big difference in this game is the Wildcats ability to matchup up inside with Thomas Robinson and Jeff Withey. For Kansas to win this game, Robinson has to be unstoppable in the paint. I simply can't see that happening. Kentucky's Anthony Davis and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will really make it hard for Robinson to get off a clean look. While Kansas needs Robinson to have a huge game, Kentucky has someone at every position who could have a big game. They beat Louisville by 8-points with Kidd-Gilchrist playing just 23 minutes because of foul trouble.
Kentucky is 5-2 ATS in their last 7 NCAA Tournament games as a favorite of 0.5-6.5 and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Big 12, while Kansas is just 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a game in which they covered the spread. BET THE WILDCATS!
