4* NBA NO DOUBT BLOCKBUSTER BLOWOUT
Orlando vs. Atlanta,
02/23/2012 19:30 EDT,
Score: 78 - 83
Point Spread: -4/-105 Orlando
I understand that Hawks have won five straight at home over the Magic, but this is simply to good of a spot to pass up on Orlando. Atlanta has been playing most of the season without All-Star forward Al Horford and just recently lost All-Star guard Joe Johnson.
The Hawks played their first game without Johnson last night in New York. They would end up losing the game 82-99, but it was a lot uglier. The Knicks had a 30-point lead at one point in that game.
For whatever reason Orlando is not getting the credit they deserve. I believe a lot of that has to do with a couple of bad losses to Boston and the fact that Howard has been in the middle of trade talks all season. What people need to be noticing is the fact that the Magic are 22-12 overall, winners of 10 of their last 13 overall.
By this point the Magic are sick of the Hawks and sick of losing to this team. While some teams could take the foot off the gas when they see the other team is missing their best player, that won't be the case tonight. If any team is going to struggle to show up and play with a lot of intensity, its the Hawks.
Orlando is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games as a road favorite and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. Atlanta is just 4-11 ATS in their last 15 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of greater than .600. BET THE MAGIC!
