Colorado State vs. New Mexico Over 65
The New Mexico Lobos are a team that on the surface most people would think would be an ‘under’ team. They run the football every single play, and they have no passing game at all.
This usually eats up the clock, but they are so good when they run the football that they still put up a bunch of points.
Another reason why New Mexico overs are a good idea, the Lobos have a horrendous defense.
New Mexico can’t stop the run and they can’t stop the pass. They have been consistently giving up 40 points or more a game of late.
Colorado State has an emerging star at the running back spot in Kapri Bibbs. Bibbs is electric quick and I expect him to tear through this New Mexico defense like a knife through hot butter.
Colorado State has enough of a passing game to keep New Mexico honest as well.
The oddsmakers didn’t want to set this one too high because these teams played a low scoring game last year, but both offenses are much better this season.
We’re getting a lot of line value on this one. Expect a lot of points.
Take the over. Good Luck, Razor Ray.
