7* Saturday MLB COL/ARI
Arizona vs. Colorado,
09/21/2013 20:10 EDT,
Score: 7 - 2
Money Line: -117 Colorado
The Colorado Rockies host the Arizona Diamondbacks on Saturday in game two of a three-game set.
The Rockies have been far better at home of late than the Diamondbacks have been on the road, which allows us to get behind this play with confidence.
Jorge de la Rosa gets the nod for the Rockies in this one. He’s a player we’ve been happy to ride with this season, and he’s been red hot of late, compiling a 6-0 record in his last seven starts, with Colorado posting a perfect 7-0 record in those games.
The Rockies are 9-0 in de la Rosa’s last nine starts against Arizona.
The lefty’s last start was pushed back because of a thumb injury, but that issue is believed to be a thing of the past, and shouldn’t be a factor in this game, although it did afford the fireballer some extra rest.
Trevor Cahill counters for the Diamondbacks. He’s had a tough time at Coors Field in his career, posting a 1-3 record in five starts there, allowing at least four runs in each of two starts there this season.
The Diamondbacks are 1-4 in Cahill’s last five starts against the Rockies..
Good Luck, Razor Ray
