4* No Brainer on Houston Texans -
Tennessee vs. Houston,

Score: 24 - 30
Point Spread: -8/-105 Houston
The Texans got off to a very slow start against the Chargers last week, but still came back to win that game. I don’t think that will be the case this week against Tennessee. The Titans looked horrible in their season opener against Pittsburgh, putting up just 117 yards through the air. It’s obvious that Jake Locker is working with a very short leash since he was allowed to attempt just 20 passes.
The Houston Texans amassed 329 yards against a stellar San Diego Defense, and they did it while playing on the road. This week they have the luxury of playing from their home field, a place where they posted a 6-2 record last season. The Titans on the other hand posted a 2-6 ATS record on the road last year.
The Titans are 1-7-1 ATS in their last nine games against AFC South opponents. They are not a team that has strung together back-to-back quality games recently as they are also 1-5 ATS in their last six games following an ATS win. The Texans are 8-3-1 in their last 13 games against AFC South opponents, and 8-2-1 ATS in their last 11 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game.
