Miami vs. Milwaukee Under 8.5.
The Miami Marlins haven’t scored a run in either of the first two games in this series. With most teams that would be a shock, but the Marlins are terrible offensively. Miami has had several horrible slumps like this already in 2013.
Milwaukee’s offense isn’t nearly as potent without Aramis Ramirez in the middle of the lineup. Ryan Braun isn’t as effective without that RBI machine batting right behind him. Milwaukee has been on a nice under run of late.
Wily Peralta starts for the Brewers in this one. Peralta is one of the top rated prospects in the Brewers organization. He started the season very poorly, but he really turned it around right before the All-Star break.
Peralta is the type of guy who I believe could be the Brewers ace in the near future.
Henderson Alvarez hasn’t proven himself in the majors, but he has all the stuff to be a quality starting pitcher in this league.
He has several good strikeout pitches, and this Brewers offense strikes out frequently.
These two offenses struggle to put together big innings. The pitchers should have the upper hand all game long.
Take the under. Good Luck, Razor Ray.
