7* Sunday MLB BAL/TOR
Toronto vs. Baltimore,
07/14/2013 13:35 EDT,
Score: 4 - 7
Money Line: -130 Baltimore
Baltimore ML -130
The Baltimore Orioles host the Toronto Blue Jays on Sunday in game three of a three-game set.
The Orioles have been one of the better teams in baseball when playing in their home ballpark, posting a 19-8 (.704) record in their last 27 home contests.
The O’s will give the ball to Scott Feldman in this one, as he’ll make his third start for the club. Feldman offered a quality outing in his first start since being acquired by Baltimore, but was roughed up by Texas in his second try.
Expect him to bounce back in this one versus a struggling Blue Jay team. Feldman has quietly had a very strong season, posting a 3.87 ERA and 1.17 WHIP.
The Orioles are 5-1 in their last six Sunday games.
The Blue Jays counter with Josh Johnson. This year has been a major disappointment from Johnson. His 4.62 ERA doesn’t factor in the seven unearned runs he has allowed.
Worse than his numbers, the team has routinely lost when he’s taken the hill. The Jays are 3-8 when he’s taken the hill. That record would be even worse if not for the average of 7.7 runs they accumulated in those three wins.
The Blue Jays are 2-4 in their last six games at Oriole Park.
Good Luck, Razor Ray
