Joe D'Amico's NBA 7-0, 100 STAR
Miami vs. Indiana,
05/28/2013 20:30 EDT,
Score: 92 - 99
Point Spread: -2½/-106 Miami
Today's winner is Miami over Indiana. This is my 100 Star.
Indiana looked shaken after ending their 6 game home win and cover mark this post-season in Sunday's, 114-96 massacre. For the first time in the series, LeBron James intentionally singled out Paul George and that opened up the perimeter for the Heat shooters. Miami took over the paint with a 60-48 edge as they did in Game 1, 52-36 which resulted in both as victories. Indy led the NBA in Defensive FG% but yet Miami shot 62.8the first half alone Haslem was quiet in Games 1 and 2 but was implemented with purpose, scoring 17 points on 8 of 9 shooting. Miami played mistake-free committing a mere 5 TOs. Game 3's spanking was Indy's worst home loss this year and now feel the pressure. The Pacers couldn't keep the tempo and the hole deepened. Key factors that will be repeating … The Birdman, Chris Andersen is a perfect 15 for 15 shooting the L4 games. The Heat are 34-12 SU and 29-17 ATS on the road TY. Miami also owns a 51-13 SU Conference mark and Indy a 40-26 record vs. the East. The starting 5 of Indy has played 36 plus minutes in Game 1, 38 plus in Game 2, and 37 plus in Game three. With almost no steals and assists and now changing defensive schemes , the Pacers are biding their time. In the Playoff's, King James averages 40 MPG ( the only Heat player to do so). LeBron leads a squad that has five players hitting 50% of their shots. Andersen, Haslem, Chalmers, and Cole are filling in wonderfully, Miami is 1st, 2nd, and 5th in FG%, 3-pt shooting, and scoring. Their "D" is Top-10 in everything. Miami has won and covered 11 straight road games, including all in the 5 in the post-season. With San Antonio resting until June 6th, Miami, will not lose that advantage. The Heat are 21-5 ATS their L26 games played on the road and 14-6 ATS their L20 overall. Take Miami Thank you.
