New York -1.5
The Boston Celtics host the New York Knicks in game four of their first-round playoff series on Sunday afternoon. New York won game three in the series on Friday, 90-76.
New York has had absolutely no trouble with the Celtics thus far, winning the first three games in the series by an average of 12.3 points.
Wins in each of the first three games in this series give the Knicks a chance to get out of the first round early, and it also gives them six consecutive wins over the Celtics, with those wins coming by an average of 12.3 points.
The presence of Pablo Prigioni at the defensive end of the court has been tremendous for the Knicks. He’s limited Avery Bradley to a combined eight points in games two and three, and had five steals in game three.
The Knicks are 17-1 when Prigioni and Raymond Felton are their starting guards.
Carmelo Anthony has carried the Knicks offensively throughout the series. He has scored 32.0 points per game on 56.2 percent shooting from the field.
The Celtics haven’t had that type of success on offense. The team is averaging only 75.0 points through three games, and have attempted an NBA-low 68.3 field goals per game, while also committing the third most turnovers in the playoffs thus far.
The Garden certainly can be a tough place to play, but the Knicks haven’t had any trouble there. The team is 6-1 ATS in their last seven trips there.
The Knicks are 9-2 ATS in their last 11 road games. Take New York.
Good Luck, Razor Ray
