10* Friday NBA GS/DEN
Denver vs. Golden State,

Score: 108 - 110
Point Spread: +1/-102 Denver
The Golden State Warriors host the Denver Nuggets in game three of their first round playoff series on Friday. Golden State evened the series on Tuesday with a 131-117 win.
Golden State’s brilliant shooting percentage in game two carried the team to a win in that game, but with three days to make adjustments, we expect to see George Karl make the necessary adjustments to get his team back into a position to win.
The Warriors shot a ridiculous 64.6 percent from the field in Tuesday’s win. Golden State took Wilson Chandler out of the game at the defensive end, and took advantage of weaker defenders.
Coach Karl has talked about playing Chandler at the center position to keep Golden State from taking him out of the game. Adjustments like that are what have made Karl one of the NBA’s top coaches over the years, and with three days to prepare, Golden State will be at a significant strategic disadvantage.
Kenneth Faried was underwhelming in his return to action on Tuesday. Denver’s best hustle player throughout the season has made strides in his recovery, and there have even been talks about him being ready to return to the starting lineup.
While Denver gets healthier, Stephen Curry’s ankle injury is truly a cause for concern. His ankle swelled up after the game, and already without David Lee, a limited Curry means disaster for the Warriors.
The Warriors were able to rally in their first game without Lee, as teams often do in the aftermath of losing a key player, but don’t expect another rally like that one, and certainly don’t expect them to shoot 64.6 percent from the field again.
The Nuggets are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a game in which they allowed 125 points or more. With the spread for this game way off due to Golden State’s historical shooting in game two, we’ll bump this play up to our top rating. Take Denver.
Good Luck, Razor Ray ?
