Joe D'Amico's NBA 17-2 RUN No Limit Move
New York vs. Chicago,
04/11/2013 20:00 EDT,
Score: 111 - 118
Point Spread: -4/-105 New York
Today's winner is New York over Chicago. This is my NO LIMIT MOVE.
New York has feasted on their L13 opponents, as the Knicks are riding a 13-game win streak, outscoring foes by an average of 13 PPG. Overall, NY has been money, covering 13 of their L14. The one thorn in their side this season has been the Bulls. Chicago has won and covered all three meetings vs. New York this season. But, these two rivals haven't met since January 11th, Chi-town caught NY in the midst of a small skid in which they dropped three straight and 5 of 7. The Bulls are trying to keep hold of the #5 seed as the Hawks are right on their tails. The Knicks clinched the Atlantic and have a 2 1/2 game lead over Indiana for the #2 seed. 'Melo has been ON-FIRE, scoring 36 or more in five consecutive games, averaging 40.6 PPG during the span, and a .3 edge over Kevin Durant, 28.6 to 28.3 for the NBA's scoring title. Anthony missed the first matchup with the Bulls but posted 34 PPG in games 2 and 3. The Bulls are banged-up, as Deng and Gibson are slated to sit this one out, and Noah is a game time decision but if the Center does play, it will certainly aggravate the injury and he won't be 100%. The rumor mill is whispering that Derrick Rose might finally see some floor time, but for the life of me, I don't know why. Would you jeopardize your franchise player in his first game back from injury against one of the most-physical units in the NBA in a game that won't really matter to the Bulls. If they finish ahead or behind the Hawks, they are in the playoffs and then give Rose and company some extra time to rest and rehabilitate. NY owns the 4th best 3-point shooting team and rank in the Top-15 in just about every other category on offense, while their "D" is a Top 10-20 team in everything. Noah and Boozer are the Bulls only boards men and if Noah plays he will be limited. Chicago shoots a lowly 43.6% from the field and 34.5% beyond the arc. They are an aggressive squad particularly on "D" but they just don't match up well with a healthy Carmelo and a surging JR Smith. The Knicks are 7-0 ATS their L7 games played on the road, 11-1 ATS their L12 games played vs. the East, and 17-4 ATS their L21 games played overall. The Bulls are 12-27 ATS their L39 at home, 1-5 ATS their L6 games played vs. the East, and 1-5 ATS their L6 games played overall. Take New York. Thank you.
