Chicago & Orlando over 183
The Boston Celtics host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. Boston is coming off a 94-91 loss to Charlotte, while Chicago dropped their last game to San Antonio, 103-89.
Amazingly, the Celtic offense didn't seem to lose a step when Rajon Rondo went down. Since then, the team has averaged 103.3 points per game in the eight contests since his season was declared over.
One reason the team hasn't missed Rondo’s ability to distribute the ball is that Paul Pierce has stepped up his play in that department. Pierce is averaging 8.5 assists per game over the team’s last four games.
The Celtics have had rebounding troubles all season, and the loss of Jared Sullinger certainly won’t help them any in that department. In the last meeting between these teams on January 18th, Carlos Boozer and Joakim Noah combined for 33 rebounds, including seven on the offensive glass.
If those two can generate second chances for the team, Chicago shouldn't have too much trouble scoring. The Bulls will need to put up points as their defense has tapered off of late, allowing 107.8 points per game over their last four.
The over is 4-0 in the last four meetings between these teams, and 10-2 in the last 12 meetings in Boston. Take the OVER.
Good Luck, Razor Ray
