Joe D's NCAAB Odds Makers Mistake Play
Baylor vs. Kansas,
01/14/2013 21:00 EDT,
Score: 44 - 61
Point Spread: -10/-110 Kansas
Today's winner is Kansas over Baylor. This is my Odds Makers Mistake Play.
We believe that this line is off at least 6-7 points in our favor. Baylor's losses this season were to Colorado (as a 5 pt fav), Charleston (as a 17 1/2 pt fav), North Western ( as a 9 1/2 pt fav), and just a subpar performance against Gonzaga. The team is 0-10 in road games against Kansas. The Bears come in here with three straight victories over Texas, Texas Tech, and TCU, of which Baylor was 11, 10, and 18 point favorites. Kansas owns a 31 game home win streak. They lead the Big 12 in shooting %, is 2nd in scoring, and commit very few TOs. The Jayhawks have possibly the best trio in the nation in McLemore, Withey, and Releford (43 PPG and 16.8 RPG combined). McLemore's 16.4 PPG, Withey's 72 blocks, and Releford's 41 assists makes them very dangerous and is a serious threat for any opponents. The Jayhawks want this game, not just for a win, but they want a blowout after dropping LYs last meeting, preventing them from getting the coveted 3-game sweep. The Bears are 13-27 ATS their L40 games played vs. the Big 12 while the Jayhawks are 3-1 ATS their L4 games played against the Bears. Take Kansas. Thank you.
