Joe D'Amico's NFL NFC Total of the Year
New Orleans vs. Dallas,
12/23/2012 13:00 EDT,
Score: 34 - 31
Total: -110/+51½ Over
Sunday's winner is New Orleans/Dallas OVER. This is my NFC Total of the Year.
Dallas is still in the Playoff hunt. The Cowboys have rattled off 3 straight victories, which happens to coincide with the return of RB, DeMarco Murray. Over their L6 games, the Romo-led offense has averaged 29.5 PPG. They face a New Orleans defense that ranks dead-last in the NFL, yielding 446.2 YPG. The Saints posted 389 points this season while allowing 379. LW, they spanked the Bucs, 41-0. QB, Drew Brees leads the NFL in TD passes with 36, and amassed a respectable 4335 YP. He will shred a Dallas secondary that is known to give up the long-ball. Cowboys CB, Claiborne should return after a one-game absence with a concussion but won't be 100%. The OVER is 12-3 in the Saints L15 games played vs. the NFC and 5-1 in the Cowboys L6 games played at home. Take the OVER. Thank you.
