4* AFC Game of the Week on Broncos -3.5
The Broncos are 2-0 straight up and against the spread in their last two games with double-digit victories over the San Diego Chargers and New Orleans Saints, and I expect them to keep right on rolling against the struggling Bengals.

The Bengals are 0-3 straight up and against the spread in their last three games and have lost each by at least four points to the Miami Dolphins, Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Cincy is 0-6-3 ATS in its last 9 games following an ATS loss.

Denver has had the upper hand in the series winning three in a row and eight of the past 10 meetings. The eight wins have come by an average of 7.4 points.

The Bengals are coming off a bye but are a poor 4-9 against the spread in their last 13 games following a bye week. They are just 3-10-3 against the spread in their last 16 games overall and 0-3-1 against the number in their last four at home. The Bengals are also 0-5-1 ATS in their last six versus a team with a winning record.

Peyton Manning is in a groove, and that doesn't bode well for the Bengals, who are on a 2-9 against the spread slide in home games versus excellent passing teams that average 7.5 passing yards or more per attempt. With Manning at the controls, the Broncos are averaging a healthy 8.0 yards per pass attempt. Lay the points.
